Normally I walk the refuge abut mid-day. But today I wanted to see what sundown looks like there. The day was beautiful so the likelihood of a visible sundown was good. And sundown is a photographers favorite part of the day. Sure enough, there was a clear view of the sun sinking behind the Coastal Range to the west and wispy clouds provided some after-sunset fire in the sky. The ducks and geese seemed to be swimming in gold.
