Today was Day 2 of our naturalist training at the TRNWR. We spent the day inside talking about leading tours of the refuge for kids. It sounds, uh, challenging.
We were inside because it was raining a lot outside, and we were supposed to be crawling around on hands and knees looking at little plants with magnifying glasses. The very springish showers were not a the best conditions for that.
As if to put a point on the day, in the parking lot bioswale there were these sprouting lupine with a big shimmering diamonds at their centers a little diamond bits around the edges.
