I’D LIKE TO SEE THIS YOUNG WOMAN AT TRNWR

During the climate change awareness events in New York last month Bill Moyers interviewed on PBS Kelsey Juliana, an 18-year-old environmental activist.  She articulated the concerns young people have regarding global warming and her hope for changing the current course of events. Hopefully, Kelsey indicates the potential for a young persons’ climate-saving movement.

The thing is, she’s from Oregon — Eugene. I’d like to see this young woman invited to speak to the Friends of the Refuge or at the 2015 TRNWR Bird Festival. We dearly need to involve someone who can help us spark the greater involvement of young people in the refuge. They’re the future.
