I haven’t been to the TRNWR in a few weeks for fresh pictures. But the great thing about this area is that you’re never far from nature.

A couple of days ago while returning from an appointment, my wife, Marilynn, and I decided to drive up into the hills of south-western Beaverton because the fall foliage was so nice. Eventually we decided to go to Lowami Hart Woods Park and see how Johnston Creek that runs through it was flowing after a couple of rainy weeks. The neat thing is the park is only about a half mile from our home.

Sure enough, the park was glisteny and drippy, and the creek babbled through the woods as creeks should. Mushrooms pushed up through the ground along the trails.

Thank goodness for smartphone cameras. I was able to get some shots and a little video.
